At the north entrance to Oyama is Konohana Garten, a farmers’ market owned and operated by the Oyama Agricultural Cooperative. Shelves and bins are filled with fruits and vegetables, many picked just before being brought to the store, and each is labeled with the name of the farmer who grew them. In addition to fresh produce, there are also many locally processed goods, also labeled to show who made them. There is also a buffet restaurant where guests can choose from a wide variety of dishes prepared from ingredients fresh from the farm.
